1a. Mycroft is an actual flower.
2. Hover over each icon for flower it was inspired by! I didn't write up full explanations because my inspirations are mostly really long leaps, headcanons, and vague associations... I'm not very good at this whole getting inspired business :U I mostly followed the meanings of flowers and words prompts, plus some icons/graphics but to a lesser extent.

i was ttly gonna try and do sherlock icons for the7days, but i just cannot possibly do 7 different icons of same cap D: but YAYYY i've missed your sherlock icons \o/ i was actually @ the sherlock museum in london this weekend and made my bf wear a deerstalker and i was all kinds of embarrassing fangirl but idgaf i had so much fun C: but anyway, let's get to the beautiful icons bc omg r00d, HOW DO COLOUR?!??? i am totally digging 4, especially how you've accented the smoke. and the red, red icons are the worst tbh but you make them so pretty. and i love the composition + grunge feel of 5, wat a gr9 orange. also the scene was pretty amazing lol. 6 is so obscure yet so detailed, i really like the crop and colours. and 7, ahhh so pretty ;A; *whispers* you should ttly do an icon of the fan theory about sherlock/moriarty tbh. 8 is so amazing, the colours and close crop just pop so well and the icon looks like it's 3D. AMAZING. who doesn't want 3D batshit moriarty amirite? the yellow greens and blues on 11 are so well put together, the icon is super aesthetically pleasing to the eye *W* . i might be 100% biased, but 13 is hands down the best icon. 14 has really nice and rich cyans. and i am just now seeing 19, yes, HELL YES, mama like very much aw ye. 23, 25, 26 and 28 also get a massive shoutout bc colours abound *_____* i am SO in love with your colors, it's insane. 34 also looks 3D and i honestly don't know how you make it so, but i have a feeling you either used dark magic or made a deal. 35 will always be so so so creative and genius, and i also really like 38. wat a gr9 composition and quote. the colours of 43 are 50 shades of EPIC tbh, because wowww. and the close crop works so well. the supernatural icons are all magnificent, but i'm sure you know that already and DAT NONA ICON THO. omg r00dface, you honestly make the most sensational and out of this world anime icons like REALLY wat the fucKV....AFEKJSNJKVLDNSS.FB also the haru (gay free boy) one owns my soul and i am 5ever grateful FOR IT *heart eyes emoji* and Hell Yes! steven universe icons \o/

3. 3D is actually a very simple trick c: stamp all layers on top, right click the layer and open blending options, uncheck one or two boxes from channels and then move the layer a bit!

I really like how your icons are blocks of strong colors. I guess I am too frilly to allow plain colors to take up much of my icons. It looks really impressive, though. I especially like the upside-down Castiel, and no. 32/35 with the gears. And the rainbow in 20 - I'm gonna take that if that's okay.
