I love red, and I love making red icons, but NEVER AGAIN. About 7 icons in, I realized that red might not have been the wisest choice for a hard mode set, because there's only a rather narrow range in which red is red, and not reddish orange or reddish pink. But I was too invested to switch to a different color or mode, so here's 20 icons in almost the same shade of red :U

I picked option 3 - a random pack of textures. I quite like the selection I got, and trying to use them in non-obvious ways was fun! I didn't always succeed, as can be seen from the icons I guess... Also, my claim was just Free!, so I initially planned to make icons of the entire cast, but then those gays happened. It's was stronger than me u____u

This whole post is so red!porn *-* Just WOW. I decided to play hard mode too and it was such a pain in the ass, so I feel you ~~though red is a lot harder that green~~
I love the kind of painting style in #1, the texture use in #3 and #7, the coloring on #17 and #18, and #11 is just hilarious!
But my fav are #2 (omygoshh so beautiful *-*) and #20 (the composition is STUNNING)

WOW!!!! Where I even begin :D First of all; HE TOTALLY PLANNED IT! :D:D So; Free! So glad to see Rin/Haru fan here :D ♥ I have to say that I didn't like Free! first but then I just continued watching it and and fell in love with in series :D It is just so ridiculous and so awesome ;D And so gay ;D LOL! It's so shame that the show ended :/

About the icons; I just love Free! 21!! Love the coloring, TEXT and lighting ♥ I love the composition of 24 and text is super good! So lovely colors of 25!! I adore the lighting and painted hair! 26 has stunning bg and texture work. I love Rin hair of 29! I also do Free! icons for 20muses :D

Your coloring this post is freaking amazing!! I also lovelovelove your red coloring! And I have to say that they look different, so don't worry!! So strong and powerful coloring. I adore the contrast and the composition! My favorite are; 1 (amazing red colors and contrast!!), 2 (the crop is super amazing), 3&5 (perfect composition and texture work!), 10&11 (LOL!! I love the animation and texture work! The animation is the best :D), 13 (Beautiful :) The composition is stunning here and and the colors ♥ I love the levels and texture really works), 15 (Beautiful texture work and the characters are cut-out really well!), 17 (Stunning! YES HE DID. And in the morning they were all snuggled up and cozy and I refuse to accept otherwise.
I wasn't too into it at first too, especially since the first few scenes are about baby Haru and his swimming propaganda... I was afraid the entire anime would be like that, 10 year and their weird love for water. BUT I'M GLAD IT TURNED OUT SO GAY. I wish there was at least one more season, but on the other hand, I doubt they could make it good... What if they forced in even more Mako/Haru scenes D:

omg your set for 20muses is amaaaziiing!! （;;￣Д￣）Red is stupidly hard but you managed to do a wonderful job with it! I'm dying at the lighting and painting in 2 *__*, love the fire in 3, the composition of 6, the addition of blue in 12, the uniqueness of 14 and 15 and the colors and composition of 17!

I'm glad you were able to work with the textures for your 10in30 set! It's been fun seeing the results from those who chose that option. Favorites; 23, 26, 27 and 28. :D

The challenge was really fun! Especially since I usually default to my 2 or 3 favorite texture packs, and rarely try new ones.

You are so brave for taking on 20 red icons <3
That being said, you did such an amazing job making each icon look fresh and inventive.
My favorites are 01, 05, 08, 09, 13, 16, and 17.

Also, have to say, I adore that icon of Steven and Greg. That was one of my favorite moments of the show <3

I can't believe you managed to make 20 red icons, I would have given up after... two. Yeah, that sounds about right xD
My absolute favourites are: 2 (oh god, everything about this icon is PERFECT), 9, 11 (BRILLIANT), 21, 45, 46 (HOW), 62, 63, 66 and 67 (HOW x2).

After about 5 or 6, my main motivation for finishing it was something like... FUCK YOU RED YOU HORRIBLE COLOR I WILL SHOW YOU WHO'S THE BOSS. I was tempted to give up and go for a rainbow, but by then I was running on spite and laziness because I only saved caps that would work with red and I didn't feel like looking for more XD

So many great icons!! 2 is absolutely gorgeous, love the crop and the red tones. Also 9: great colours! And 10 is so cute! I think you did well with this challenge, even though the shades of red are very similar you varied the crops and compositions so it's actually a very cool set.

Your 10in30 set is great too, I love all of them!! Especially 4, great composition. I think you were very creative in the ways you used the textures.

And the other icons are also very nice, love your use of animation for some of them. And colours! Such great colours!

WOAH. This post is just... mind-blowing!!! There are GREAT icons and I think I'm in love with your style!! Every icon is a masterpiece! I ABSOLUTELY love the colors and the textures use, the latter is just PERFECT every time. Some icons are extremely original and unconventional and absolutely stunning (i.e. #11, #46, #58, #66) but what I love the most about this entry is the way you used the textures in the challenge for 10in30, it's so well done and totally NOT obvious so GREAT JOB!!!

OMGG, I don't know how you managed to make so many red icons, I absolutely love this color!
My favourites from the Star Wars set are 2 (love the close crop, the shadows and the painted look), 3 (great texture use and black + red = win!, I love this color combination) and 12 (amazing composition and coloring, I don't think I've seen this color combination before, but I'm really digging it).
The Free! set is also amazing, it makes me wanna check this anime out, it looks like I would enjoy it. I really like the whole composition on 21 and the text arrangment, it's reallyy cool, 22 has great crop and wonderful coloring. I really like the painted look and the coloring on 25 and the texture use on 26.
Oh, and of course I can't forget to add the Emma icon, it's absolutely incredible!

love red icons!! *o* everything is amazing but 2 and 9 (colors!!! crop!!!), 3, 5, 7, 12, 13, and 15 (textures!!! *O*) the lighting on 1 is phenomenal, 19 and 20 have amazing!!!! compositions, and of course I love 10 and 11 (my favorite lil droids ;p)

it's such a creative use of the texture!! k so now that's out of the way this set is so wonderfully virbrant!! (I'm also glad there's more Free! icons :3) I really like 25, 26, and 29 :3
